Maxin and Relaxin'

A lot of our time camping is spent relaxing. And for me that doesn't mean fishing.  It means sitting.  Here are our various sitting relaxing moments:

Chillin' and Fishin' and Eatin'

This is where we camp. We love it. This is from this years trip and it's our 2nd year coming here. I love it here. So peaceful and quiet. So green and beautiful. I wish I lived here.   Between last years visit and this years it had A LOT of snow. So much that if I were to show you a picture from last year you would be in awe of all the green this year. Not to say that last year was dry and brittle, but this year was lush.



This is us at the lake. This is what we do- we sit and be chill.



Unless we aren't chillin', then it means the boys are off fishin'. As seen here by my boy.  He loves to fish.  Last year there was an abundance of fish. This year- not so much. But that doesn't mean that he wasn't out there trying. He fished as often as we would let him.



If we weren't chillin' or fishin', we were eatin'.  As evidence by this photo.  And anyone who knows me well, knows I didn't eat the meat that is on this plate. I don't eat hot dogs or game meat. And that dark thing is a white tail brat. A double whammy! But I heard they were delish.

So that sums up our camping trip. I have some other photos to organize and post but for now here's what I've got. Enjoy!

You Spin Me Right Round Baby Right Round

(Wait...first...have you seen a photo lately of the guy that sings that song? Ewwww.......)
I am on the record player of life. Spinning around. Playing the same songs. Over and over. Time for a mix up! It's a work in progress- trying new things.  But I'm going for it!  AM and I had a plan to do 2 new things a month or at least get out twice a month. And it worked for three weeks. HA! Gotta start taking that up again! But where o where do we head? There's a karaoke thing at the country club on Wednesdays that we want to try. Maybe next week? Hmmmm?

The hubbys birthday is Saturday. We are planning a breakfast get-together.  I'm most excited for the pancakes! Mmmmm pancakes.....  Also the fair is in town for the next couple of weeks, we hope to get there. Usually we go to a rodeo and concert but not so sure this year. I'll be sure to get some photos if we do.


I haven't spoken about this years camping trip. But here's a little teaser photo to get you interested in the coming posts:

Everyones a Lobo! Woof woof woof!

  Well the weekend has come and gone. What a weekend. It was full and at the same time boring. Don't know how that worked out, but it did.   Let's just move on to the best part of the weekend.

It happened when we went to the UNM football game. Yeah they aren't a great team and our seats weren't very good...but hey- I got my photo taken with Lucy Lobo! Ha!  We went with friends but that wasn't what made it a great night. (Although I do enjoy seeing them.) Got to see the marching band, but that wasn't what made it great either. Not the soda I had or the hot dog I ate. Not the warm comfy blanket we sat on. Nope, none of those things. The BEST part of my weekend? Was sitting next to my husband at the game. I had no one on the other side of me to talk to and since the person he was sitting next to had someone else to talk to as well as my husband, I practically got him all to myself.  It was awesome. We talked football the whole time. I was in heaven.  Now don't get me wrong I LOVE to be out with a big crowd, everyone talking over everyone else and everyone in everyone else's coversation, but just this once- this was nice.

Walking Posters

So this weekend we are holding a fundraiser. My Dad was recently diagnosed with Bulbar ALS (another post for another time) and we are walking in this years ALS Associations, "Walk to Defeat ALS" walk.  This weekend we have invited all our friends and family over.  For a $5.00 donation we offer pizza, a drink and a dessert. Plus we are having a silent auction! 

I made signs to hang up and put on the front door of my Moms house:

So that's my post for today. Not much but a poster. But hey! Theres another picture in a post! Woo hoo!

Tonight- off to Hobby Lobby to look at the shirts we want for the walk.

Time Again

Here I am again! I've become inspired to start blogging again. I've been reading other blogs for the last 9 months and learning a lot. No I have NOT been pregnant for the last 9 months. Anybody who knows ME, knows that ain't gonna happen again!

On to my blog. It started out being about food. And I still want it to be a LOT about food. But I'm branching out. And if I can ever figure out how to go about doing more things with this blog I will.

So much has happened in 2010. I will try and see what I can get in that is relavant. I can do photos now! See?
